Hello, I am Katrina and I am passionate about helping couples achieve their goals. I understand that each person’s challenges are unique, and with relationship counselling, I aim to help partners find the best way forward. I use proven and integrative approaches in empowering couples to find the most suitable solution based on their current situation. I help partners make sense of what they are experiencing by feeling heard, understood, and be motivated to change for a positive and successful outcome.
I fully understand what it takes to help couples foster a positive relationship with each other, as well as with those around them. Helping transform the lives of many has been a calling, compelling me to commit to this pursuit, seeing that the smallest of changes in couples can make the biggest of differences. I learn from my clients every day, whether they invest more in their relationship or part their separate ways.
I offers a personal and flexible approach by using an integrative method. Treatment, interventions and strategies are tailored to the goals of each individual relationship.
I am a fully insured and qualified counsellor, a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association, with a degree in Master of Counselling qualification specializing in couples therapy, and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling
I started my work by helping individuals ease through parenting transitions that presented a range of issues including life transition adjustments, parent and family difficulties, as well as communicating personal needs. That said, I am aware of the significance of counselling to better the lives of the people I work with. Inspired to drive change, I have shifted my focus in attending to the heart of everything; couples, husbands and wives, partners regardless of gender, race, or relationship status.
I am located in Ascot where I can provide face-to-face services and a personal and confidential environment for my clients. I also offer relationship counselling through Zoom to help couples who cannot visit because of location and logistical reasons.
The logo is a visual representation of a healthy relationship between two people. The two bottom circles are separate from each other, symbolising the individuals maintaining themselves in the relationship – both intellectually and emotionally. The two bottom circles overlap with the top circle representing the relationship, where the couple comes together. The three circles together represent the concept of “l, thou and we’ in a relationship.
Alternatively, you can view it as the three people within the counselling space – the two bottom circles are the couple, and the top is the counsellor holding the relationship in mind.
